Advancing Architecture and Design |
We are very pleased to launch our new Center for Architecture and Design website and online community. As many of you know, the Center for Architecture and Design is a nonprofit organization that was created to educate and engage the general public in all things architecture and design. What many of you may not know, is that since 2017 the Center has been focused on streamlining our programming to maximize our impact on the City of Philadelphia. We gave some of our legacy programs to the Preservation Alliance (our Building Philadelphia Lecture Series and our Emergence of a Modern Metropolis) in order to focus on re-invigorating our K-12 educational programming. Thankfully the Preservation Alliance has made those programs more successful, bringing them to more people than we ever did! For the Center, that focus enabled us to invest resources into our K-12 Programming.
Today, we are thrilled to share our expanded Architecture and Design Education programs as part of our new Center website launch. This new website is also an online community, where individuals and companies can interact with us. Joining our community is FREE and open to everyone.
