Come join us for Juneteenth, Cel-Liberation Day! We will explore the African Kente culture and its design, tradition, and storytelling from Ghana to the United States. Participants will learn about the meaning of the symbols and colors that are used in the woven Kente cloth and then create their own to wear and tell their own stories.
ADE is offering free workshops for ages 10-16 years old to explore various mediums in design thinking and projects. Our workshops are led by professional designers that are experienced teachers and have completed the required background checks to volunteer with children.
